OK, OK, so I've been "HOUNDing" on this for a while now. Even though Hillary Clinton herself has been calling on all Democrats to unite in support for Barack Obama, we've seen these few "PUMAs" troll around the internets. They're dishonoring Hillary, trashing barack, and doing the right wing's work in mocking Democrats.

So what can we now do to get out the real progressive message that Hillary wants us to listen to? Follow me after the flip to find out...

Apparently, we have a new round of fighting occurring here at MyDD over "PUMA". Now I know it's easy to just become angry and scream about it... However, I'd like for us to all calm down and really think about what this "PUMA" phenomenon is supposed to be all about. Oh yes, and why don't we think about WHO this is supposed to be all about?

I didn't quite know what to think when I first heard from my local Democratic Party about a "Unity BBQ" that happened last Saturday. How would Barack Obama fans and Hillary Clinton supporters get along now that Democrats have a Presidential nominee in Obama? And what else would happen? Well, I guess I wasn't quite prepared for what was about to happen.

Hey, everyone! I just wanted to share with you all a special message I received today. I hope you appreciate it as much as I do.

Recently, there's been plenty of talk by Republicans like George Bush and John McCain about lifting the federal ban on offshore oil drilling. They claim that because gas prices have become so high, it's time for us American to stop being worrywarts and embrace the thrill of the drill. They claim that a good way to start bringing down gas prices is by drilling for more oil domestically.

But hold on, just how wise is the Bush-McCain plan to open up our coast to more drilling? Follow me after the flip for more...

You know, there's so much that we'll need to do as a nation to get back on the right track. We have a war to end, and economy to fix, a climate and a planet to take care of, people to start caring about again. The Bush-Cheney era is finally nearing a close... So now, we must think about how to put all that misery behind us and move forward in a new direction.

And you know what? We actually have an opportunity down here where I'm at in Southern California to start moving our nation in a new direction. Not only can we help send Barack Obama to the White House next year, but we can also change Congress by replacing the incumbent Bush-Cheney dittohead with someone who will work her hardest to make our government work for us again.
